Secure Destruction

In accordance with fiscal legislation, companies, businesses, and industries can destroy goods that have lost their value due to deterioration or other causes. However, for basic goods essential for human subsistence in terms of food or health, whose acquisition or production costs have been deducted for income tax purposes, they are obligated, prior to destruction, to offer them as donations to authorized institutions capable of receiving deductible donations under the Income Tax Law. These institutions should be dedicated to addressing basic subsistence requirements related to food or health for individuals, sectors, communities, or regions with limited resources.

At REA ECOLOGY, we are convinced that the integrity and brand protection of fiscally non-compliant products or those that have lost their value due to deterioration, shrinkage, obsolescence, or expiration are essential for our clients' needs.

Therefore, we have created comprehensive destruction mechanisms and actions to ensure that they are not susceptible to reuse for their intended purposes. This is achieved through processes of confidentiality, reliability, and professionalism.

During the destruction processes, REA ECOLOGY offers the valorization of waste for its use as inputs in productive activities. Additionally, we provide information on the final destinations derived from the process, with the aim of contributing to the Zero Waste commitment.

It should be noted that, at the end of any destruction process, REA ECOLOGY issues a destruction manifesto, as well as the delivery of photographic and video evidence according to the client's request.
